I purchased this after using a different type of connector. This worked very well for me due to the dashboard arrangement on my PT Cruiser. -- Works well

The mount works well and seems fairly well made. The only thing that I didn't like is the length of the arm that plugs into the power outlet. It is longer than I would have liked but I assume that it is designed to fit in power outlets that are recessed into the dash. I removed the second arm and mounted the small part with the swivel ball directly to the arm that plugs into the outlet. That worked fine.

Not having to deal with the power cord is a very nice feature. If I want to remove and hide the GPS, all that I have to do is unplug the mount. -- Very good overall

This works great. I use it in my 2006 Maxima where it is mounted on the console just in front and to the right of the shifter. Perfect fingertip reach from the shifter. It holds my GPS unit in the set position with minimal movement. -- ARKON GN097 Pedestal Mount
