My car does not have a good flat place to mount a GPS and I didn't want it on the windshield. Easy to take the Garmin off and on. Easy to install. This has been the perfect answer for me. -- perfect answer to my needs!

This mount works perfectly in my 2007 Dodge Ram. Windshield mounts just are too inconvenient to use in this truck. This unit places the GPS in easy reach and with good visibility. It adjusts to fit either the large cup holders or the small center holder where the coin holder originally sat. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that in my opinion the quality isn't that great. It feels a little on the fragile side and the size adjuster really feels cheap and prone to breakage. All in all though, it hasn't broken yet and I've used it quite a few times so I would buy it again as it provides the solution I need for my truck. -- Very useful mount but a little flimsy

It works well in one of the cup holders, not so much in another, I like to use it better than any other application -- handy

I purchased this for my husband as a birthday gift. I actually investigated many different brand 'cup-mounts' for his Garmin GPS, but then I read poor reviews about how flimsy and frustrating many of them were... then I stumbled onto this Garmin Nuvi mount while doing a search on Amazon one day. I read a few of the positive comments on the product & was sold.
My husband simply 'popped ' it into his Tundra's cup holder the next day and it's been there ever since. It's stable, and secure with no wobbling or noise vibration even with the Tundra's partial (hook style) cup holders. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a Garmin GPS. -- Great overall product for the money!
