We had the doughnut shaped bean bag friction mat, but our GPS never quite worked well on it. I kept saying "Why doesn't someone invent one of these for my GPS?" Looks like they did. Fits our Tom Tom One no problem. If your GPS is not quite fitting into your doughnut friction mat, get this one. Sell your other. -- Durable and U\seful - Easy to use and works
I have used this about 6 weeks now on several trips. I prefer a dash mount over window for better driving visibility. This works great with my TOM TOM XL 540, no problems at all. I have not tried it yet with any other gps units. I am actually going to order a spare.
The GPS can be easily positioned to face into the vehicle as there is an area where is is not blocked as in most other dash mounts. -- Allows the GPS to be placed in high visibility position
